Hospitals
TMU now has 7 university hospitals: the General Hospital, the Second Hospital, the Third Hospital, the Dental Hospital, the Metabolic Diseases Hospital and the Intraocular Implant Center, among which 4 are designated first class hospitals in Tianjin. The university also has affiliation with two other hospitals, namely, Tianjin First Central Hospital and Tianjin Third Central Hospital, which are also first class hospitals. The university hospitals have a total of 4300 beds.
A large no. of state of art medical instruments in the hospitals have created favorable conditions for the construction of specialities, teaching and research, and have provided advanced diagnostic and treatment means for medical service such as MRI, CT, ECT, GAMMA-KNIFESYSTEM, ESWL, X-KNIFESYSTEM, DNA SYNTHESIS, CFM, DSA, LINEAR ACCELERATIOR etc. The techniques of radioimmunoassay, molecular biology, electrophysiology, endoscopy etc. are occupying an advanced position in China.

Students are provided with a well-furnished luxurious room in the hostel. Two students share one room, which is provided with television, telephone, AC, room heater, table, chairs, cupboards, toilet, bathroom etc. Common kitchens are provided with refrigerator, gas stoves.
